Purpose: The goal of the Mango Madness project is to create communal marketing opportunities for fruits to enhance food security and ensure maximised benefits to the residents, through suitable value addition technologies.

Outputs:

Since its implementation in March 2025, the project has sought to:

  1. Conduct a market assessment.
  2. Develop a cultivation booklet and video to educate and create awareness, as well as develop an agreement model for benefit sharing, resource mapping, and expansion plan. 

Anticipated Impacts: 

  1. Enhanced capacity of residents. 
  2. Opportunities for value-added production. 
  3. Increase local consumption of fresh fruits.
  4. Reduced wastage.
