Implementing Agency: LearnCorp International (LCI)

GGI Priority Area: Education and Training

Target Beneficiaries: Technicians, Instructors and Students of the Linden Technical Institute (LTI) and New Amsterdam Technical Institute (NATI)

Regions: 5 and 10 

Duration: 2 Years 

Purpose: The project’s overall goal is to enhance the quality of technical training, elevate the standard of technical education across the country and create a learning environment where safety is at the forefront.

Outputs: 

Since its implementation in 2019, the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Phase I Project has sought to: 

  1. Upgrade the teaching curriculum, support existing programmes and foster a safety culture among students and instructors.
  2. Improve skills and provide equipment, resources, and training.

 Impacts: 

i) Direct contribution to economic stability and a better standard of living, creating entrepreneurship opportunities. 

ii) Sustained Economic Development through a cadre of trained and skilled human capital.
