Project Name: Smart Classroom Buildout and Kitchen Upgrade

Target Beneficiaries: Grade School Students, Single Parents, High School Dropouts, Prospective Small Business Entrepreneurs

Region: 6

Duration: 6 Months 

Purpose: To enhance HMGI’s capacity to provide access to education, including STEM and workforce transition training. This will promote interactive and collaborative learning, while exposing students to modern and industrial technology in the cooking industry, enabling them to take advantage of job opportunities in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Outputs: 

Since its implementation in October 2024, the Smart Classroom Buildout and Kitchen Upgrade has sought to: 

  1. Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning. 
  1. Provide early exposure to computers and advanced technologies. 
  1. Increase enrollment as a result of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
  1.  Provide real-time use of images, videos, models, and web-based content during class sessions.

Anticipated Impacts: 

  1. A more educated workforce that fosters innovative ideas, better employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
